I just did a complete re-install of www.cookography.com. Everything went well, it was actually pretty easy. Using the import – export functions under manage in the dashboard make it pretty simple. I had been getting weird errors whenever I tried to post comments or upload posts using xml-rpc. I gives me DB errors, so I even scrubbed the DB and started fresh. Well, turns out I should have done a little Googling first. Looks like it was just one of the plugins I was using that was generating the error. Once I brought up the refreshed site, I still got the same error. I just updated the Sitemap plugin, and everything is better now. Lesson Learned!
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up and hopefully save you some time if you are using the Google Sitemap Plugin (which everyone should be using:). You need to make sure you have the latest version here: http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/google-sitemap-generator.3.0.zip
If you have an older version that is incompatible with WP 2.3, you will get an error whenever you try to post.
