One nice thing about travel is trying out new baseball stadiums. Not bad for a $27 ticket! It was raining right at the start of the game, but now we have blue skies.

I am out in Denver for a set of conferences. Nothing to crazy… And unfortunately nothing too exciting. My flight out here was on a Boeing 777, which is a beautiful plane. I also upgrade to business class which is nicer than first class in most two cabin planes. You get a leg rest an the chair reclines almost flat… Think lazy boy! Quite nice. The flight home is going to be tough in economy plus.

Apparently there was a fair or circus in town. On the train tracks next to the shady grove metro station there was a train with flat bed cars loaded up with kiddie rides.

Carolyn and I went to a dc united game tonite… And I caught one of those tshirts they throw into the crowds! Big night out…

out in vegas at a trade show for public safety wireless.

I just got this through and so far I really like it. So far I have gotten almost everything up and running. The EVDO is impressively fast and I can data service on the Metro here in DC. So the coolest App has been listening to streaming radio (NPR) while underground on the Metro. Seriously cool! The other fun thing is hooking you laptop up to the Treo and using it as a modem to get internet access.

The only problem I have so far is syncing with Oracle Calendar. The current version of Oracle Calendar does not support syncing with ActiveSync 4.0 which you need for Windows Mobile 2005. It is possible to synch using a 3rd party SyncML client on the Treo… but unfortunately it is not setup on the server. Anyhow I don’t really use the calendar much so it is no that big a hang up.

So far… so good. I will post again on how it is going!

I just got my cooking site up and running. It is over at: http://www.applyheat.com

Give it a look and let me know what you think!
